Cons — wallet danger (you will mistake “deal” for “need”), repeat events that burn you out, and matchmaking that sometimes pairs you with players who’ve clearly spent way more than you. Tips from my own dumb mistakes: save coins for set upgrades, join a trading group (you’ll thank me), and don’t be shy about skipping a tournament if it costs too much to enter. Also — record your hand when you play late. You’ll want to rewatch that glorious bank heist (true story: I squealed like an idiot).

Final call? MONOPOLY GO is not flawless, and don’t expect it to be your new life. It is, however, a cruelly fun phone game that feeds on short attention spans and dopamine hits.
